Client Service Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all garden and landscaping services provided by Garden Dome ("we", "us", "our") to clients ("you"). By accepting a quote or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Quotes

All quotes provided by Garden Dome are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.

Quotes are based on the information available at the time of assessment, including any photos or descriptions you provide. If additional work or materials are identified once work has commenced, we will discuss this with you before proceeding and provide a revised quote if required.

A quote does not constitute a binding agreement until it has been accepted by you in writing (including by email or text message).

2. Deposits

For smaller jobs, no deposit is required. For larger projects, Garden Dome may request a deposit prior to commencement. The deposit amount and terms will be clearly outlined in your quote.

Deposits cover the cost of materials and preparation. If you cancel after a deposit has been paid, the deposit will be refunded less any costs already incurred for materials ordered or work undertaken.

3. Payment

Payment is due immediately upon completion of work, unless a deposit or alternative arrangement has been agreed in writing.

We accept the following payment methods:

•       Bank transfer (details will be provided on your invoice)

•       Cash

If payment is not received after reasonable attempts to contact you, we reserve the right to engage a debt recovery process and recover any associated costs.

4. Cancellations

We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booked job.

Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice, or where materials such as mulch, soil, or turf have already been ordered for your job, may incur a fee. Any such costs will be communicated to you clearly and will reflect only the direct costs already incurred by Garden Dome (such as materials already purchased or delivered).

We understand that circumstances can change. Where possible, we will work with you to reschedule rather than cancel.

5. Scope of Work

Our services will be carried out as described in the agreed quote. Any additional work requested on the day that falls outside the original scope will be discussed with you prior to commencement and may be quoted separately.

Garden Dome reserves the right to refuse work that is unsafe, outside our area of expertise, or that would require permits or approvals not already in place.

6. Use of Subcontractors

From time to time, Garden Dome may engage casual workers or subcontractors to assist with completing your project. All personnel engaged by us are expected to conduct themselves professionally and in accordance with our standards.

The use of subcontractors does not affect your agreement with Garden Dome. We remain your primary point of contact and are responsible for the quality of all work carried out.

7. Access to Property

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the areas of your property where work is to be carried out. This includes ensuring that any pets are secured and that we are able to access the site at the agreed time.

If access is not available at the scheduled time through no fault of Garden Dome, this may be treated as a cancellation and the cancellation terms in clause 4 may apply.

8. Insurance and Liability

Garden Dome holds public liability insurance. In the event of accidental damage caused by our work, please contact us promptly so we can assess the situation and work towards a resolution.

Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided under the relevant quote. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from our services.

We are not responsible for damage to underground services, pipes, or cables that were not disclosed to us prior to commencement of work.

9. Workmanship and Complaints

We take pride in our work and aim to deliver quality results on every job. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the work carried out, please contact us within 7 days of completion so we can discuss your concerns.

Complaints raised after 7 days, or where the work has been altered by a third party, may not be eligible for remediation at our cost.

10. Photography and Marketing

Garden Dome may take photographs of your property before, during, and after completion of work for the purpose of marketing, including use on our website and social media channels (Facebook and Instagram).

No personally identifying information (such as your name or address) will be included in any marketing material without your explicit consent.

If you do not wish for photos of your property to be used for marketing purposes, please let us know in writing before work commences and we will respect your preference.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website. For ongoing projects, any material changes will be communicated to you directly.
